"Our Dragon".
Built in 2003
This is our dragon. It is the largest sculpture Cheryl and I have made to date. It is constructed of a still frame, covered by chicken wire, then burlap soaked in cement and painted. It's aprox. 20 foot high and 40 foot long. You are looking at the entrance. Inside it is a mixture of an art piece and a fun house. The inside is a series of cave tunnels that is aprox. 100 foot long. It is a secret how we achieved this. One room is 28 foot high, but you cant see it from front. Cheryl and I took a year to build this "sculpture". It is located at the Texas Renaissance Festival open in October and November each year. You will have to come see it for yourself to find the secrets inside.
