This work was one of the wilder pieces I ever made. It's hard to see everything going on in this sculpture by the picture. This piece is basket shaped. It took well over a year to complete and was annealed over 30 times. Each component was added one at a time then re-annealed. On a work like this the real trick is holding true to the original vision. To accomplish this I work from sketches made before I began. While the finished piece was very congested with imagery, I did manage to accomplish that task.
